I'm here writing a poem
For a special friend
Who I know is always there
Someone to share my life with
Every hope, dream, and care

I know you have never seen me before
But I just want to express my feelings
Of what i think about you

Whenever I feel down or alone
You're always there to make me smile
Your soothing caring words
Or just by looking at your pictures

It's been great to have you around
Exchanging thoughts and feelings
Sharing funny stuff happening in life
And thus making me laugh

A special friend like you
Mean the world to me
When I think of something special
It is your face I see

Everything you mean to me
You could never know
In all the ways you've changed my life
I could never show

Before I get too mushy
It's time for me to go
But before I leave this ink-filled page
There's one thing you should know

As long as we are living
No matter when or where
If you ever need me
Just call and I'll be there

I'll climb a thousand mountains
And swim a thousand seas
Anything to be there
Cause you've been there for me.
